Without being DCC minded, I welcome a semaphore device such as this. My memories of the Santa Fe in the nieghbor hood where I grew up include these. I do not care for non-operating dummy anythings, so this is a welcome product to me!
A small correction: The SC-1 semaphore controller does not provide outputs for crossing flashers – it is primarily targeted at semaphore operation, although it can operate crossing gates or turnouts. We do have another similar product, the SC-2, that has crossing flasher ouputs.
