As I understand it, these cars can be set up as either two deck or three deck interiors and move from one to the other in a few hours. Is there any exterior feature or marking that shows which setup is in use? How does the switch crew know whether to place a car in a 2 or 3 deck unloading track? Paperwork, just looking inside the car, placard on the side or other?
