Weaver Models, makers of O scale model trains and Scalecoat model railroad paint, will be closing its doors as of June 29.

The Northumberland, Pa., model railroad manufacturer was founded in 1965 as Quality Craft Models, producing wooden kits in N scale to O scale. Today, in addition to hobby paint, the company produces O scale trains for the 2-rail and 3-rail markets, most manufactured in the United States.

The company announced that it will hold a cash-and-carry sale of products and memorabilia starting June 29. For more information go to Weavermodels.com.
