Forget the steam engine…I want to know what the MRT is gonna do about that dead Holstein keeled over on its side and lookin pretty stiff in the cow pasture. LOL
ugh the un-synchronized exhaust kills me…
Anyone know the what would a good setting of CV 116 to provide 4 chuffs per revolution at speed ? Thanks
The exhaust seemed to be roughly 6:1. Is this a rare 3-cylinder Pacific?
Could the exhaust chuffs be tweaked a bit. giving these sounds a quick crescendo and decrescendo /quill effect would give it a softer sound. I would suggest Bachman market a version with assembled mechanism but do no attach the individual details, so we could kit bash easier. I cringe a destroying a nice paint application. Many thanks.
The exhaust sound seems badly out of sync with the drivers or is it just my imagination?
Sounds and looks good. I only hope the gap between the tender deck and the cab deck can be made shorter. It looked awfully long in the shots.
Sure hope the engine has an automatic stoker as it seems to be quite a reach for the fireman just to get to the deck of the tender. Sound isn’t too bad, but I wonder what the “growling” noise is when the engine is either idle or drifting downgrade.
