Most of my sound decoders and operational system is Digitrax. What will I run into if I have an ESU system decder in one of my engines I am having ESU decoder installed in a Bachmann 4-8-2
He had the two engines mixed up. 8271 was the GP38 and 1645 was the GP15.
My new SD40-2S from Intermountain have LOKSOUND and they work as advertised, even in N Scale!! Magnificent! !!!!!
Yes, very cool features… thanks for the demo!
I’m impressed with Matt’s knowledge of locomotives and his ability to demonstrate the decoder features. If I were to have read about these functions, I wouldn’t have been able to grasp them nearly as well as with his demonstration. I have several ESD Select decoders installed in diesels, and enjoy their sound and operational capabilities, this adds even more interest knowing I have the option of updating their software. Thanks MR and Dana for making this video and posting the full version.
I can’t believe how realistic model railroading is becoming. This Full Throttle thing really let’s you be in control of the train and replicate train movement perfectly. Geez! The only downside is now I’ll have to switch out all my decoders to ESU LokSound.
Makes me want to start replacing some of my sound decoders!
neat feature! AS with anything from ESU, it seems complex, but I think one can get the hang of it. I have often wanted by switching units to have more variable sound like the ones I see at trackside in the real world. Thanks for showing this to us.
A little hard to follow since I did not know what “notching ” is.
As a character on “Laugh-In” was wont to say: “Verry interestink.” Does sound quite good, and should be even more so when the steam improvements come out.
