How to set up and run this HO scale model train set
With Bachmann EasyTrack, the rerailer section has a connection for the plug from the speed controller (I use that because both the DC and DCC controllers) can be hooked up to the track only one way; so depending on which side you plug in to, determines which rail is plus or minus in DC or Rail A or Rail B (using the DCC convention)
To fix the problem, simply plug into the rerailer section on the other side OR turn your train around. Please note: I do not know which rail is connected to which pin in the plug, so the solution could be as easy as turning the rerailer section around 180 degrees.
Not certain, Dana, but I think you got your wires crossed. It seemed that the engine was running in the opposite direction of the controller. Otherwise, a good set for a starter.
