Love the model and these are absolutely fantastic! Whistle is weird from the original, but all in all, these are superior models and will give up the brass!
I had no idea what a NH FL9 horn sounds like, but I certainly want one!
Do I understand that it will run on DCC or DC,, You should show TRAIN with NH coaches not Milw??
Sounds more like a steam locomotive.
What an awesome model! The Rapido folks have outdone themselves again. The LokSound decoder was a very good choice as well. Model railroaders couldn't be living in a better time than now, its like being there, the only thing missing is the smell of the exhaust. I only wish I modeled the New Haven!
I certainly hope that is the correct sound for the horn/whistle; it sounds like something one would hear on a small steam engine without much steam pressure. Other than that, this is a most unusual locomotive which New Haven aficionados will truly appreciate. Guess Penn Central folks will go for it too. Unfortunately it only works for service into and out of Grand Central.
Simply one of the best models ever built. The quality on my Penn Central unit is beyond expectations and the detail exquisite. Worth every penny paid.
