Hello Gordon,
When using a paintbrush for working with liquid plastic cements, first make sure the brush itself isn't plastic, or it will just make a mess of your project. We typically use camel hair or sable brushes around the shop for liquid plastic cement applications, and then that is all those brushes are used for.
During a work session the paintbrush will pickup dissolved plastic, and once you let it dry, the brush will harden solid. However, when you are ready to apply more cement, let the brush soak in the bottle for a minute. The brush will soften quickly and then work just as it should for your next application. The brushes Cody used in the video have been around the shop for 10 years or more, and they still work as they did when we started using them. If you watch our videos carefully, you'll spot that we all use the same brushes.

Cody was using Tenax 7R glue with a paintbrush to glue plastic parts together. What do you use to clean the paint brush between sessions?

My end or yours? As noted in my comment 3 days ago, when I play this clip the video freezes with, ". . .so now we have these two end pieces," about 1:50 in. Other MR+ videos seem to play just fine. I'm kind of new at structure building and really want the wisdom Cody has to share. Thanks for checking this out.
I am excited about this service and assume the need for some tech patience as things get up to speed. The playback here was fine up to the point where Cody had the base cut and the nubs sanded. When he picks up the sprue with the end pieces, the video stops. Tried it a couple of times with the same result.
This is a big step for a publisher in the direction of relevancy and immediacy. Obviously a lot of resources have been added to the MR staff to make it work. I'm glad to be an inaugural subscriber to this service.

Our video hosting company has been having some issues with Google's Chrome browser and HTML5. If you are experiencing difficulties and you are running Chrome, try a different browser. You should have a better experience. The videos are set to stream at 4 different rates, depending upon the capabilities of the user's device and internet connection, so you should never have to wait more than a couple of seconds for any video to play on MR Video Plus.

Watching the spinning cursor gets very bowring after 3 minutes. At 5 minutes it is downright dissapointing. This is not up to speed yet and should have had more beta testing done to it or you have a terrible bandwidth issue to deal with . Is not worth the 25$ at this time and should have been FREE while you ironed out the bugs with a user base.
Good basic hints.. But what happens to the brush. How do you clean it?
