  1. Jason, you have gone to great length in my opinion to get the scenery and background right. It is one of the best i've ever seen and you should be proud! Backgrounds are everything to make a layout come to life and look believeable. GREAT JOB!!!!

  2. I think I've been in some of those towns; the mills look "right on". Just about my favorite landscape. Hmm, does anyone do Africa? I think I've seen 1 or 2 jungle layouts (no connection). Really nice work..

  3. Great layout. I pick up the book that inspired the layout: Titanic Railroad about once a year. Living in the region, you can actually see remnants of the "almost" SNE. New England is such an interesting place to model and this is a fantastic job of imagination, research and fantastic skill.

  4. The backdrops are the most believable that I hav eever seen.
Truly a work of art that frames a great RR. to perfection.

  5. This layout really brought back some fond memories, I live in Florida now, but grew up in Rhode Island. It was like watching home movies from the 50's. You have really captured the New England look…….Thanks for the memories..

  6. I Love seeing such fine work. I never know whether to be inspired or humbled. Thanks for letting us see what is attainable by many of us.

  7. The backdrop is fantastic, I really like it! Is it hand made or did you purchase it from somewhere, if so where, I would love this for my layout.
    Cheers
