U Dah Man Popp!
nice layout.
Marvelous!
Very nice looking layout. Too bad the director of the video didn't insist on "quiet on the set!" while taping. Loved the "real" logs, but would hate to be riding in crummy behind them.
I agree with Erich Johnson. The article in print in MR is very well written – just the right mix of history, layout construction, philosophy and humor. I wish all who contribute to the pages of MR could express themselves as well. Pete conveys as concisely and interestingly as well as his layout presents and operates.
Hi Pete,
Your railroad is terrific! Hope it survived the move to California.
The background chatter during the begining shots was annoying. Remember, "Quiet on the set!"
i really like how high the layout is really looks good
As an operator on Pete's layout, the video brings back great memories of the fun of running on the Fernwood Lumber Company.
Nice to see a well put together layout with similar goals as mine. Well Done.
Great work! I have never been to that region of the country (I live in Oregon) but after reading your article and watching the video I feel like I have! It was nice to read about a logging railroad set some where other than the Pacific Northwest (my home) or Maine. I also enjoyed your writing style and the use of humor in your article. I can tell you enjoy model railroading very much which, in my opinion, is the key to any successful layout. Great job!!
Very nice layout Pete,i like the loco with the boiler inside the small coach pulling the tender and passenger car.I also like, and have geared locomotives ( HO scale ) on my logging layout.
Vary Nice railroad.
