Kip Grant’s HO scale layout is set in eastern New York in the early 1960s. In this video you’ll see trains running through superdetailed scenes. You can read more about Kip’s Delaware & Hudson HO layout in Great Model Railroads 2011.

  2. Awesome job Kip!! The D+H is my favorite too! Maybe we will see each other on the rails.

  3. Very nice clean detail layout. Look like you kept it a good time period. great job! i'll be watching for more video.

  4. I was prividged to be invited to this layout for an operating session recently. This layout is truly a work of art in all aspects of Model Railroading. The video is very nice but it does not do this layout justice. Castleton,NY

  5. GMR 2011 lives up to expectations. Bernard Kempinski's layout is exceptionally well done with regard to blending foreground with backround scenery. His use of proper scale, color, and texture, make it difficult to tell where one begins and the other leaves off. The pictures alone do not reveal the scale modled and at first glance, you would think this was all done in HO scale. Quite remarkable for N scale and a real showcase for Bernards work.

  6. From a fellow D&H fan you did a great job. I am working in N-scale and you help to inspire me to keep striving to build a layout I too can be proud of. I would also like to see more of your layout.

  7. It's a great layout. I had hoped to see a close up of Adirondack Bottled Gas as I am trying to do a model of Keene (NH) Gas. Anybody got any idea's on where you can find "bobtail" propane delivery trucks in HO scale?

  8. It was great to see a Northern Pacific boxcar on your layout! I like the detail you give to the scenery and buildings! Dale Jones
