Model Railroader 2025 Calendar
Be inspired all year long with Model Railroader’s all-new 2025 calendar!
Would love the complete plans for this layout so I can make it at my home. I am starting a new layout and need pictures
fantastic.
Played this over and over for my grandkids
Nice layout ! The Erie and the Erie Lackawanna sure were great railroads ! Even in n scale on my layout , where i am building a part of the EL in the late 60s in Pennsylvania.
Looks beautiful, would have enjoyed a much longer video. Keep up the good work.
The ballasting needs some improvement….even recently ballasted track wouldn’t have that kind of appearance.
Did the passengers on the first steam train get upset about the freight train blocking their view of the river?
Looks like a great layout-want to see more of it.
Beautiful, very seldom see anybody dedicated to the Erie Railroad. My brother (now deceased) and I both accumulated much Erie Railroad rolling stock, Locomotives and scenery items for our layouts because Elmira, N.Y. was our home town and we loved watching activity going on in the Elmira yard and surrounding areas. They even had a Roundhouse with Turntable there when we were kids. Erie Railroad items are getting harder to find as time marches on.
Very nice, but they need to ditch the UP boxcar seen in the train pulled by the Erie F-units. The “We Can Handle It” slogan dates from about 1973.
Nice video. I can’t wait to read the article. Did you include the LV trackage rights on the Erie (and the Holding Point) and NYC’s service to Southport Yard on the Pennsy, or did you concentrate on the Erie and Lackawanna mains? Guess I’ll soon find out!
Nice teaser video. Cannot wait to see the October MR.
Looks very realistic…. Thank you…
Beautiful layout Joe. I’m modeling portions of the EL as well, wonderful years of railroading. Thanks for sharing.
