Pennsylvania RR class K4 4-6-2 from Bachmann
Senior Editor Cody Grivno hosts this Product Review video featuring the Pennsylvania RR (PRR) class K4 Pacific steam locomotive from Bachmann Trains. The 4-6-2 paid a visit to our Milwaukee, Racine & Troy staff layout, where it led a short train of heavyweight passenger cars.
Details on the HO scale PRR K4 include blackened metal RP-25 contour wheels and side rods, a die-cast metal trailing truck, E-Z Mate Mark II couplers on the front of the locomotive and rear of the tender, and factory-installed and painted engineer and fireman figures. The model is equipped with a dual-mode TCS WOWSound decoder, a Keep-Alive capacitor, and voice-guided Audio Assist program.
The Pennsylvania RR class K4 4-6-2 from Bachmann, in stores now, is available in a prewar version with a slat pilot and postwar version with a modern pilot. Both versions are offered in two road numbers. The locomotive performs best on 22” radius curves or greater.

Hi Cody, Was the cab seated correctly? There seemed to be a gap between the cabside & the running plate on the close ups. Otherwise, a lovely model.
