  1. I think there has been a slight mistake. This is the same video from two weeks ago. I remember the hobby blades, and boxcar kit.

  2. Hi Cody,
I see Atlas are still neglecting to update their GP38’s for the modern day. I bought 2 a couple of years ago (1 in P&L & 1 NS “training first responders”) Although both are current era locos, neither had ditch lights fitted. I noticed the same on the GATX model you were testing. In the age where you have firms like Scale Trains & Rapido that go absolutely insane on accuracy, it’s sad to see Atlas being left in their wake.
    All the best

  3. Cody: new subject. I noticed the weight on the MR&T 50′ Boxcar wax not flat. This seems to be a common problem. I the car bottom is glued to the weight then the bottom is curved. Flattening the weight is difficult as I have tried to do that and don’t usually really get it straight and flat. Any suggestions.

    1. Hi Bill,
An easy fix is to use Black tac on each end of the weight. That overcomes the bend issue.

  4. Cody,
When you have a freight car that a plastic cast foot step has been broken off, what are your techniques for fixing this issue? There are many replacement foot steps out there, do you prefer plastic or metal?
