HOOSICK, N.Y. — Several freight cars, including three propane tank cars, derailed from a Vermont Railway train in North Hoosick, N.Y., Wednesday evening, according to state and local officials. The cars did not leak, although some local residents were evacuated as a precaution.
There were no reported injuries.
“State emergency personnel, including state police and environmental and health officials, have been deployed to the scene to ensure the safety of the community,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a statement. “In addition, the State Department of Transportation has an inspector onsite and is supporting the investigation into the cause of the accident.”
No cause had been identified as of Thursday morning.

it looks like their is a switch that they were going thru and maybe the wheel somehow split the switch its possible
