Big Boy continues its trip home NEWSWIRE

Day 2 of return trip takes 4-8-8-4 and 4-8-4 No. 844 to Rock Springs, Wyo.

The climb up Peru Hill highlighted Monday’s trip for Big Boy No. 4014, doubleheading with 4-8-4 No. 844. Also in today’s video, you’ll see the Union Pacific steam special climbing Aspen Mountain and leaving Granger, Wyo.

The train now takes a two-day break in Rock Springs, Wyo., before continuing its trip home on Thursday, going from Rock Springs to Rawlins, Wyo.
