LA Metro names five to senior management positions NEWSWIRE

LOS ANGELES — LA Metro has announced moves to fill five key senior management positions.

Joining the staff or being named to new positions are:

— Nadine Lee, who becomes permanent chief of staff after six months in an interim role. She will work with CEO Phillip A. Washington to implement projects funded by Measure M, the nation’s largest public infrastructure program.

— Yvette Zoe-Robles Rapost, named chief communications officer after serving in that position in an interim role since earlier this year. She previously oversaw Metro’s Community Relations Deparment.

— James L. de la Loza, the new chief planning officer. His office oversees development and environmental studies of all projects, among other duties. He was chief planner at Metro from 1996 to 2005 and returns after working at national and global transportation companies.

— Jonaura Wisdom, the chief civil rights programs officer. She has been with Metro for five years and previously served as Director of EEO and Civil Rights Program Compliance.

— Aston T. Greene III, appointed as interim chief systems security and law enforcement officer. He is currently executive officer, administration, for the systems security and law enforcement department.
