WASHINGTON, W.Va. — A 32-year-old man has been identified as the CSX Transportation employee killed in a Saturday derailment.

Curtis C. McCohihay of Southside, W.Va., was killed in the derailment about 4 p.m. on Saturday, WTAP-TV reports, quoting the Wood County (W.Va.) Sheriff’s Office.

CSX confirmed on Sunday that an employee had been killed in an accident near Parkersburg, W.Va., and in a statement, extended “our deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and co-workers of the individual. The incident is currently under investigation.”

The National Transportation Safety Board and other federal agencies are also investigating, according to the sheriff’s office.
