BALTIMORE — Light RailLink service between Camden Yards and North Avenue, shut down since the July break of a water main, resumed Monday morning.

Baltimore Fishbowl reports that the Maryland Transit Administration resumed service that had been suspended since July 8, when the broken water main damaged an underground vault, creating a sinkhole that consumed part of the Convention Center stop on the light-rail line.

At the same time, service was restored between North Avenue and Lutherville, which had been suspended so crews could address erosion near the Cold Spring Lane station. During the shutdown, which partially or completely suspended service to 14 of the light rail system’s 33 stops, the MTA also replaced some tracks and repaired pedestrian walkways at three stations.
