Desjardins-Siciliano is the former President and CEO of VIA Rail Canada, the country’s national intercity passenger service operator. He was responsible for managing over 3,300 employees moving nearly five million passengers per year.
An experienced executive, Desjardins-Siciliano has held several positions at IBM Canada, the Government of Canada (Ministry of Labour & Transport) and Bell Mobility. He initially joined VIA Rail as Chief Corporate and Legal Officer.

I worked for Via when this Harper appointed flunky ran the show. Just another useless political brown noser. The only time he attempted to look as if he was doing anything at all was when his prick of a patron was voted out, and he then had to suck up to Trudeau.
Good for him. In 2014, my wife and I took The Canadian from Vancouver to Toronto and were so impressed by the level of service that I tweeted about it. Yves Desjardins-Siciliano tweeted back and I realize it may have been a staffer managing the account, but still cool.
