BRUNSWICK, Mo. — Norfolk Southern’s Grand River bridge between Kansas City and Moberly, Mo., will reopen for train service tonight, Oct. 28.

“NS Engineering is completing the final repairs today and service across the bridge will be restored.” NS officials say. “NS Operations is evaluating all traffic and train plans and will adjust to accommodate the restored service throughout the day.

The bridge was destroyed by a flood and debris washout Oct. 1.
