NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Marty Stuart will be the special guest for the 77th running of the CSX Santa Train, set to run from Shelby, Ky., to Kingsport, Tenn., on Nov. 23.
The country musician, winner of multiple Grammy awards, told the Tennessean he’s been looking forward to the event for more than a year.
“It is such an honor to ride the rails with CSX this year, spread some love and bring some joy to those kids along the way,” Stuart said. “I’ll promise you nobody will be happier than me on the 23rd.”
Past musical guests on the train have included Kathy Mattea, Ricky Scaggs, and Patty Loveless.
Sounds like my kinda party! Trains, country music… To bad I live in non CSX territory…
