  1. Great collection. But, I’m never going back. A couple of years ago while driving to it, I was stopped by an Ohio Highway Patrol officer and accused of speeding (When I wasn’t) and told I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt/shoulder harness (When I was). I guess even though I respectfully disagreed on his seatbelt claim, because I didn’t argue (He was armed. And, too many people in the U.S. get shot by cops during traffic stops.), he gave me a “Warning” ticket, although I could tell my tag was in their system because a couple of days later, another OHP officer did a quick 180 when passing me in the other direction. He “tailed” me for the next nine miles. Needless to say, I’ve avoided Ohio like the plague since.

Even though Age of Steam is world class, OHP makes the state a third-world dump best to be avoided.

  2. Don’t miss this impressive museum’s passenger & freight cars, work equipment and cabooses collection too!
