UNCAS, Alberta — Seventeen cars of a Canadian National Railway grain train derailed early today (April 5), Global News reports. No injuries were reported. Investigators from the Transportation Safety Board of Canada have been sent to the scene east of Edmonton.
CN told Global News the derailment occurred about 6 a.m. near Uncas, about 22 miles east of Edmonton. Photographs from the scene show grain spilled from a number of the hopper cars involved.
Officials from Strathcona County reported in a Facebook post that the track was likely to be closed for about 24 hours.
It’s715 CT in Arkansas, I haven’t heard of a derailment happening since you wrote Mr Weinberg.
Mr. Narita, I hate to ruin the joke, but that is a reference to Shrek 2, where Shrek at one point says,”For five minutes, could you not be yourself, FOR FIVE MINUTES?!” to Donkey. I wrote what I wrote mainly because I’m sharing my frustration with how frequently there have been derailments. (there’s like 1 or 2 a day at this point) I am also Generation Z, we tend to make more jokes via Memes, so I wasn’t sure if others would understand it.
For five minutes, can we not have news of a derailment, FOR FIVE MINUTES?!?!??!?!?!
