The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad has placed tickets for its 2023 season on sale, launching a 15% off holiday sale that runs through Dec. 31.
“Last year, we released tickets earlier than ever and our fans were delighted,” railroad president Scott Gibbs said in a press release. “… It makes for a very meaningful holiday gift and with the discount, we anticipate we’ll once again see a lot of holiday sales.”
The 2023 schedule begins Memorial Day weekend with weekend departures of the Chama Express, from Chama, N.M., to Cumbres Pass and back. Trains depart at 1 p.m. and return at 3:45 p.m. Regular daily service begins June 3, with both full-excursion trips between Antonio, Colo., and Chama and half-trips from either Antonito or Chamo to Osier, with return to point of origin.
