TriRail_logoFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Six passengers required hospitalization and two others were treated at the scene after a Tri-Rail commuter train struck an abandoned vehicle and derailed during the Friday morning commute.

All of the injuries were described as minor.

Best I could find. Vehicle was abandoned at the end of a street (on the right of way, not the street)

  2. So how do we blame the railroad for hitting an abandoned vehicle on the tracks? It does not say but was it even at a crossing?
