The delay, Cummings said, is due to the magazine switching to a digital edition. He said he had to fight to separate it from its former Web host, a process that he completed only about three months ago. The staff has decided not to issue a new print product without launching the Web magazine along with it.
Subscribers will get a letter requesting an email address, and Cummings said they’ll initially have the option to continue to receive the paper magazine or switch to digital. Eventually, he said, he hopes to phase out the print magazine in favor of the Web.
