CHICAGO — The Historic Pullman Foundation will celebrate its 50th anniversary at its annual Rail Car Reception, set this year for Thursday, May 18, aboard three historic Pullman cars on the Track One platform at Chicago Union Station.
The reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is a prelude to the 2023 Pullman Railroad Days, to be held May 20-21 [see “Pullman Railroad Days to again feature historic railcar displays,” Trains News Wire, Reb 10, 2023].
Tickets ,which benefit the foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, are $100.
There are also three sponsorship levels available: $1,000 for the activist level, which includes reception sponsorship recognition, a one-year patron membership to the Historic Pullman Foundation, and a general reception ticket; $2,500 for the Leader level, which includes the features of the Activist level, plus a second general reception ticket; and $5,000 for the Sponsor level, which includes two general reception tickets, two tickets for a VIP reception to be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.; two one-year patron memberships to the Historic Pullman Foundation, and sponsorship recognition for both the reception and Pullman Railroad Days.
