OREGON, Ohio — Ten railcars of corn from a CSX Transportation train derailed early Friday (Nov. 11) near the Port of Toledo, the Toledo Blade reports. The accident occurred at Ironville Junction, near Oregon’s border with Toledo, about 1:15 a.m. The derailment blocked CSX trackage on the Toledo Terminal Subdivision, the primary gateway to Michigan, as well as Norfolk Southern tracks to industries near the port. No injuries were reported. CSX spokeswoman Cindy Schild told the newspaper the cause was under investigation.

Is that a manned interlocking tower?
Why can’t all those finacialists keep the trains on the tracks? Could it be because they “leaned ” out the work force on the track work side? or are 14000 ton trains not well understood from the physics side?
Oops
Any hedge fund managers hurt?
When there was corn spilled in Buffalo near CP 2 it was like a wildlife zoo for weeks. Geese, deer, raccoons, you name it. It was out there eating.
The animals are going to have some dining.
Another day, another Class 1 derailment…
Yup.
The derailments are happening as precisely scheduled. (Sarcasm)
