The dual-cab locomotive was built at EMD’s General Motors Diesel factory in London, Ontario, in 2002.

GB Railfreight said in a press release it “stands with Ukraine and this newly painted locomotive honors the people affected by the conflict as they continue to courageously defend their homeland.”
