RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Railroad Co.., the privately run, 100% state-owned business operating 317 miles of rail lines in the state, is now offering flagging and other safety services for construction, repair, and maintenance-of-way projects in its corridor.
The services offer experienced Class I and Class II railroad veterans for qualified Roadway Workers-in-Charge and flaggers, in a program led by NCRR Safety and Compliance Senior Manager John Gass, who has over three decades of Class I railroad experience.
“NCRR is a railroad company that promotes and facilitates opportunities leading to economic gains for North Carolina. Our focus on rail and safety expertise is just one of the ways we provide best-in-class solutions for the state of North Carolina,” Traish Haver, chief commercial officer, said in a press release. “NCRR’s new Track Protection Program will help projects along our corridor deliver on time and safely.”
