NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — Justin Broyles, executive vice president, commercial affairs for the R.J. Corman Railroad Group, has been appointed vice chairman of the executive board for the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association.
Broyles will serve a three-year term while also continue to serve as vice president of the ASLRRA’s Eastern Region and will become chair of the Short Line Safety Institute.
“As the newly elected vice chair, Justin will play a crucial role and provide critical continuity to our efforts, as the vice chair stands ready to step into chairmanship at any time,” ASLRRA President Chuck Baker said in a press release. “His expertise in the specifics of railroading balanced with his interest in broader railroad trends and policy makes him a great fit for this position. We look forward to continuing to work with Justin.”
Broyles has more than 20 years of business development roles in rail-related services such as emergency response, railroad construction, storm response, and national account management. In his current role, he is responsible for all Class I corporate relations for the R.J. Corman companies and leads commercial endeavors for R.J. Corman short lines and its Storm Team.
