PORT CLINTON, Pa. — The Reading & Northern has promoted Jolene Busher, who began with the company as a part-time passenger car attendant in 2007, to vice-president, real estate.
Busher’s path to her current position promotions through the passenger department to become manager of the private car fleet for the Muller family, owners of the railroad. She joined the real estate department as a file clerk and archivist in 2013, and became a full-time member of that department in 2014. Promotions that followed included jobs as office manager, project manager, and being named assistant vice-president, real estate, in 2019.
She also oversees the publication of the company’s quarterly newsletter, the R&N Magazine, and will continue in that role.
In her new position, Busher will report to Christina Muller-Levan, executive vice president-strategic planning.
