Logo of Traffic Club of ChicagoCHICAGO — The registration deadline is approaching for the 117th annual dinner of the Traffic Club of Chicago, one of the nation’s oldest associations for the transportation and logistics industry.

The event will be held May 15 at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Chicago’s Navy Pier. It will be preceded on May 14 by the club’s annual golf outing, to be held at the Cog Hill Golf Club in suburban Lemont, Ill.

“We are thrilled that the Traffic Club of Chicago — founded in 1907 — will hold its Annual Dinner at Navy Pier, which opened in 1916,” says TCC President Steven Blinn. “Together, the Club and Navy Pier have thrived for over a century by continuously meeting the needs of one of the world’s great cities and regions. … Our membership fully reflects the railroad and logistics industry, from young professionals to seasoned veterans. We know everyone who attends will make new connections as they enjoy the rich history of the Traffic Club and Navy Pier.”

Featured speaker at the dinner will be Navy Commander Frank Weisser, a two-time Blue Angel pilot and stunt pilot for “Top Gun 2: Maverick.”

The dinner is $325 for members and guests. The golf outing cost is $230, $265, or $375 per person, depending on the course played; registration for the post-golf barbecue only is available for $85 for members, $150 for guests and non-members. Registration is available online, by email to staff@traffic-club.org, or by phone at (312) 893-9976.
