NEW YORK — Equipment from New York Transit Museum’s collection of vintage subway cars will be operation Sept. 17-18 at the Brighton Beach station in Brooklyn as part of the museum’s Parade of Trains, offering round-trip shuttle rides with a regular subway admission.
The Parade of Trains will operate each day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with continuous shuttle trips between the Brighton Beach and Kings Highway stations. Each round trip will be approximately 20 minutes, with all rides beginning and ending at Brighton Beach B/Q platforms. Riders can expect a wait time of no more than 15 minutes for each ride.
The Transit Museum is the largest museum in the U.S. devoted to urban public transportation. It is housed at a historic station in downtown Brooklyn. For more information, visit the museum website.
