PITTSBURGH — Wabtec has announced three changes in the company’s senior leadership positions, effective April 3.
Pascal Schweitzer, who previously led the Global Freight Services business, will become president of Wabtec Transit, responsible for strategy and execution of the company’s transit products and services. He will be located in Paris.
Lilian Leroux, who previously led the transit business, will become chief strategy and sustainability officer. Alicia Hammersmith will become president of Global Freight Services, after previously leading operations for Wabtec North America and, most recently, the global transit business. All three will report directly to CEO Rafael Santana.
“These leadership moves will enable us to build upon the strong momentum we have across our business and ensure we continue to deliver superior value for our customers, shareholders, employees, and various stakeholders,” Santana said in a press release. “ … They are evidence of our commitment to resiliency and continuous improvement. But mostly, they are proof that our shared relentless momentum will allow us to work together to change the world for the better.”
