NJ Transit logoNEWARK, N.J. — NJ Transit will resume regular commuter rail service on its Raritan Valley Line on Thursday, Feb. 20, the agency said today (Feb. 19).

NJ Transit operations on the line were disrupted on Tuesday when a Norfolk Southern intermodal train derailed in Union, N.J., on Conrail Shared Assets Operations trackage also used by NJ Transit [see “Freight derailment disrupts NJ Transit …,” Trains News Wire, Feb. 18, 2025]. Limited commuter operations resumed that afternoon, with a combined train-bus system substituting for Raritan Valley service today.

The regular weekday Raritan Valley Line schedule is available here.
