This is my third extreme weathered project, this time a heavyweight passenger car. This HO scale passenger car is a wooden kit made by Labelle. Some of the upper detail components were separately purchased brass parts, lower details are plastic. The doors I custom made using my home made CNC Mill-Laser. Wood is not very “weathering friendly” and a lot of time was spent keeping the detail while not letting the wood fibers show. The roof is layered with brass shim stock and tea-bag tar paper. The passenger car was photographed on my detailed track diorama using my handpicked sand grain ballast.
