Join Model Railroader Senior Editor Cody Grivno as he shares a brief history of the Electro-Motive Division road switcher and Burlington Northern No. 2250; points out the various plastic, formed wire, and etched metal detail parts; and demonstrates some of the sound and light effects on our sample, which is equipped with a dual-mode Paragon4 sound decoder featuring Rolling Thunder. Then watch the GP30, decorated in Chicago, Burlington & Quincy paint with BN reporting marks, switch industries on our Winston-Salem Southbound Tar Branch layout.
