The Trippy and Polar Express trolleys from Lionel get put through their paces by Chris Montagna from the Chris’s Trains and Things YouTube channel. These were announced in the January 2022 Big Book. Both of them are really fun to have on your layout and different displays.
What’s so special about these trolleys? They’re small, they’re compact, and they have a bump-and-go mechanism. They don’t need Legacy, TMCC, or Bluetooth control. These are old-school conventional.
Of the two, the Trippy Trolley adds a little bit more fun than we’re used to with the standard bump-and-go features. It also puts on its own show. If you want to see how, watch the video!
